Blackrock Hall Primary Care Centre is the first, and largest primary care centre in Cork. Based at the Primary Care Centre are nine GPs and the Touchstone Primary Care Team. Later in the year, the HSE Primary Care Team will be moving into the building also. We all work together to ensure the best possible healthcare outcomes for our clients, at the lowest possible costs.

We have created a welcoming environment that provides opportunities for advice, support and access to products and services that assist the achievement and maintenance of optimum health and well-being. As part of a team of healthcare professionals we can facilitate the greatest possible opportunity for public access to local healthcare services. This is the natural point of entry to your network of care.

The GP practices are independently owned, by the GPs themselves, who have been serving the local Cork area for many years. Details of the GP practices can be seen under the tabs at the top of this page.

The Touchstone Practice is owned by Fergus and Orna Hoban together with all of the practitioners who work here – in areas like pharmacy, dentistry, orthodontics, audiology, optics, physiotherapy, osteopathy, homecare, nutrition & dietetics, healthfood, occupational therapy, clinical fitness, speech & language therapy, podiatry & chiropody, diabetes, psychotherapy & counselling and smoking cessation. Fergus is one of the leading entrepreneurs in Ireland in the development of primary care services, is originally a pharmacist, and is Clinical Director of Touchstone. Orna works as Concierge in the pharmacy team.

Fergus and Orna live beside the Primary Care Centre here in Blackrock, with their two children, Rebecca (3) and Rachel (2).

Blackrock Hall Primary Care Centre opens from 9am to 9pm five days a week, and from 9am to 6pm on Saturdays. We look forward to seeing you.
